Guide Listings | DVB-T Freeview UK | Stockland Hill

    Hi there

I have a new installation of:
    * Vista 32 bit SP1, fully patched via Windows Update.
    * Hauppauge Nova TD-500

I am located with 10 miles of the Stockland Hill mast, and receive good reception via a standard flat panel TV.

Until the recent changes implemented at Stockland Hill (i.e. digital switchover in mid-June) my Media Center worked pretty flawlessly.

Now, I do reliably get all of the channels I want. But, I am missing the guide listings for many of the main channels.

I've tried rescanning many times, but to no avail.

This is similar in nature to this problem, but in a different geographical location:

I believe there must be some kind of mismtach between then channels identified by the scanning process vs those provided by the downloaded EPG.

I'm not sure what information you need to help diagnose the problem. Please let me know?

    Thanks very much - Ankle

not sure what is going on. i'm seeing the data as being available. i'll do some research and see if i can get this figured out for you. I don't think its the same as the other thread you linked. on that one, the data was showing up on the wrong channels (offset by 1). Looks like you're not getting the data at all. -joel

    Well... something has changed today.

Did a complete rescan, and we now have working channels plus guide listings for pretty much everything.

The exception is the ITV channels, which have missing guide data. I've seen that before, and normally fix it by hooking up the correct guide listing to the channel.

We'll see what the 'tester' thinks over the weekend. If my wife is happy with it... then we can close this issue.

    Thanks - Ankle

I know this looks like an old thread but it matches my problem (a bit). I live near Kendal, Cumbria (post code LA8 9LN)

I can only get MC to find services if I use the "unmapped" option in the TV signal setup.

My problem is that while I can receive BBC radio 7 I can get no programme information for this channel in the EPG.

I get programme information for all the other BBC radio channels.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.
